Dewey’s Poor Ranch Carignan 2019

This old vine Carignan comes from Poor Ranch vineyard in Mendocino. It was planted in the 1880’s and has been farmed organically for nearly 150 years. Carignan is known for its dark, spicy fruit character and this is absolutely no exception. Dense and sensual, but with verve and intense fruit and baking spice. Drink this all by its beautiful self, or with roasted meats, smoked turkey, or grilled vegetables.
